2011 60 x 60 x 5 cm | 40 kg - Fused glass with multilayer inclusion pigments & Sandblasting
Martinique seen from the sky. The emotion felt on the plane, when the island appears, full of promise, dreams. The wonder when the form is accurate. The fascination with the diaphanous waters, all ranges of blue, the sun glints on the Caribbean sea so rich in fish and symbols, the enchantment of tropical vegetation. Whether one is a tourist or a native, it is difficult to escape the enthusiasm that we invaded gradually before such splendor of nature.

Martinique we relive all the emotions, the magic of light on water, the very cut shores of this volcanic island, the tropical forest and the green hills rolling to the sea. We end up forgetting the extraordinary Master glass work that it takes, because glass is a living material, which can react unpredictably when the layers merge. Can we say here, he was touched by the heart of Regis, and thus gave all of himself?
