1 – Objet

These General Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “CGV”), are printable and detail the rights and obligations between the author – creator Régis GRANVILLE (hereinafter “the artist”), and the customers, within the framework of the online sale offered by the site https://www.rgranville.com (hereinafter the “Site”).

The Site allows users to discover and acquire original and unique Works (hereinafter “the Work”), directly from the artist.

The customer declares to have the capacity to conclude a purchase, that is to say to be of age, not to be under guardianship or curatorship, and to be solvent.

2 – Ownership of the Works and reproduction rights

The artist retains inalienable ownership of the moral rights linked to all of his Works offered for sale on the Site.

The acquisition of a Work does not authorize exhibitions, reproductions or distributions of the Work without the prior agreement of the artist.

However, the representation rights will be transferred to professional clients so that they can exhibit the Work in their premises.

3 – Information relating to the sale

Each Work is generally named, dated and signed by the artist, and sold with its frame.

Photographs of the works are not contractual. Despite taking particular care in their photos, they can sometimes be slightly different from reality, due to numerous technical parameters, such as, for example, the configuration of the computer and/or the lighting of the work when the photographs were taken.

4 – Sale price

Current rates are discretionary. They are communicated by the artist following the reservation made by the client for the anticipated work(s).

They are expressed in Euros (€) from the storage location.

The customer is solely responsible for the proper completion of any formalities (customs, insurance, etc.), the choice of service providers (carrier, customs broker, etc.) and the payment of related charges. The artist cannot be held responsible in any way.

Prices may be increased by a commission when sold in galleries, during exhibitions or on online art sales portals.

5 – Reservation and acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale

The reservation of one or more works implies full acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions effective on the date the order is placed.

Reservations are made via the contact form on the site.

The client provides his contact details, proves his identity and address by attaching a copy of his documents in PDF format, and specifies the references of the work or works selected.

After validation of the information, the price(s) are communicated by email to the client, as well as the bank details for establishing the transfer for the benefit of the artist.

6 – Reflection period, order and payment terms

A 14-day reflection period begins upon sending the price of the reserved work by email. This period may be reduced or waived at the exclusive request of the client against release of liability from the artist.

During this period, the client will have the opportunity to make an appointment with the artist, in order to view the proposed work.

In the absence of order confirmation at the end of the reflection period, the work(s) concerned are once again free for sale.

By confirming his order, the customer simultaneously undertakes to establish payment by transfer, as defined by these General Terms and Conditions, or even the special conditions drawn up and accepted by the artist. The client will send proof of the bank transaction to the artist.

Upon receipt of payment to the artist's account, the invoice and certificate of authenticity will be given to the client, and the client will be able to collect the Work from the address indicated.

The work cannot be returned or exchanged.

7 – Reservation of ownership clause

The artist retains ownership of the goods sold until full payment of the price.

As such, if the customer becomes insolvent or is subject to reorganization or judicial liquidation, the sums paid will take the form of lump sum and definitive compensation up to 25% of the amount of the order. Any surplus will be returned at the first request of the liquidator.

8 – Dispute

Any dispute will be within the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.
